Tree Shadow

The tree looking at itself in my window, casts a shadow on my wall. Strange, I don't remember asking him in.

On the Water

Did this at the Library. It started out a rainy day today, but ended up bright and cool. I love sitting in the Library, it's like being in the woods. And yet there is so much to ponder I'm just floating.

Return of the Graviton

The return of the Graviton. Feeling reminiscent for old works, I decided to draw up the Graviton again. Actually the combination of two previous symbols, the Fundamental Bronze Eye, and the Oracle. Still, I like the amalgam better. Not to go into detail in this post, I might post some earlier versions with more history later. Enjoy (and yes it involves physics)

My thoughts are buzzing around my head, and I'm trying to get ready for class tommorrow. This semester I'm determined to get something great accomplished.

Night Sky

While walking home last night, I looked up and saw the smooth low clouds tear open, to reveal the high islands swimming past the moon. The air was cool, and the ground felt extremely solid and deep.

It Came Galumphing

While wandering the course today I thought I saw galumphing from the thicket a long-necked grimaced monster. Or perhaps it was just some poor soul that lost his disc in the rough.

Big Monkey

Blower

Though I would be still.

It seems that the problems that used to hold me back have taken root. Though now I often feel drawn to their shade, and to lay in the grass at their feet, I shall resist. There are clouds rising, and I with them shall pass.

Little Birds

While in the Heights yesterday, I did this quick sketch of a bird. Avian anatomy is so hard since the feathers hide most of the limbs and joints, but its fun to try and work it out.

While at the MSquared Gallery it was suggested that my bird looked like some kind of weird baby bird. That discussion led to the below:

The idea that the baby bird has feathered wings, and may be capable of flight, but isn't really ready for it. The cross came out of the pose.

Coughing

I actually did this sketch a few weeks back at an Odd Toddler show. Figured I would post it cause I'm still coughing (not as bad thankfully).

Quiet Evenings and Books

Leslie has been going to the Library a lot lately, and bringing over quite an assortment of titles. Currently we're reading "Not in Kansas Anymore: A Curious Tale of How Magic is Transforming America", it's good.

Head in the Clouds

Another cloud sketch. We had an awsome front come through a week or so ago. The clouds were building all around the town that day, and in the evening the lightning started flashing. At first it was all cloud lightning, which really showed of the forms.
This year has just been a sky year in my opinion. Last night was another beautiful sunset.
